Two FAMU Students Among 2023 White House HBCU Scholars

Two Florida A&M University students are among the 2023 White House HBCU Scholars cohort.

Afiya Ward, a senior agribusiness student in the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences from Saint Paul, Minnesota, and Maiya Lyn-Ah-Ping, a junior business administration student in the School Business and Industry from Cutler Bay, Florida, are among the 102 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from 29 different states and countries included in the ninth cohort as part of the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the program announced Thursday.  Read more…
